Lupinrangers alongside their rivals the Patrangers are a group of phantom thieves fighting to reclaim the valued treasures of the Lupin Collection from the Interdimensional Crime Group Gangler so as to fulfill their wish of saving their loved ones. A year ago, they decided to become the Lupinrangers to take back their precious loved ones who got involved in Gangler crimes committed by Zamigo Delma and disappeared.

They now work as part-timers at a French restaurant, named Bistrot Jurer, in the neighborhood of the GSPO's Japan branch. Each Lupinranger carries a gun-like VS Changer, which they use to transform and access the powers of their VS Vehicles, and a Lupin Sword that doubles as a reacher. By setting the Good Striker on the VS Changer, a Lupinranger can create two clones of himself/herself to perform the Itadaki Strike finishing move along with the other two Lupinrangers.

Kairi Yano / Lupin Red : Is a 19-year-old impulsive, fearless young man who became a Lupinranger to take back his older brother named Shori Yano. His parents died when he was a child. He transforms into Lupin Red.

Tooma Yoimachi / Lupin Blue : Is a 24-year-old cool, scheming, sharp-tongued gentleman who became a Lupinranger to take back his fiancé named Aya Ohira. Before that, he used to work at a famous French restaurant, named Ciel Bleu.

Umika Hayami / Lupin Yellow : Is a 18-year-old stylish, curious girl who became a Lupinranger to take back her close friend named Shiho Ichinose. After becoming a Lupinranger, she dropped out of the Kohakugaoka Girl's High School.

Lupin X : Is the Silver Ranger of the Lupinrangers.

Allies

Kogure : Is a butler who works for the descendants of Arsène Lupin and assists the Lupinrangers, placing the retrieved Lupin Collection items into a book he carries on his person.
